Not only huge tropical storms are causing water damage. Even comparatively tiny Swedish thunderstorms are worth protecting against. In Swedish village Stocka the Community House got its basement flooded by a heavy rainfall a couple of years ago. After a NOAQ Boxwall was acquired the building has been saved a number of times, most recently in July. The rainwater that previously flowed straight towards the building is now diverted around the gable of the building, where it can continue down the street without causing any damage.
